The true history of America is unfortunately fraught with stories of injustice. In the story of America, the voices of too many communities have been disenfranchised, including Native Americans, people of color, women, and those who are LGBTQ+.

Phoenix Rising! navigates history through musical selections and considers the past through the eyes of a child in video format giving greater meaning to the music and bringing us to the present and a hope for shared joy and uniting for change, just as a phoenix rising from the ashes!

While a serious topic, this musical journey is beautiful and fun and extremely representative of an American story!
