While still maintaining the show’s standards for artistic integrity, this performance has been designed especially for enjoyment by those audience members with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and other sensory-related concerns. At these performances the theater environment will be a judgment-free space that is welcoming, providing a safe, sensory–friendly, comfortable experience. While the performance will be performed as written, adjustments have been made to alleviate any overly loud sounds, jarring noises and intense lighting. Aurora Theatre offers this programming because we are committed to making theatre and the arts accessible to all audiences.

This field trip is “just right” for homeschool students with a story they know and love.
